7000 series butted frame, tapered HT, pressfit GXP BB, 100mm of travel. 71 degree HA, 74 degree SA. It will be available in late August with two different complete build options starting at $1700 for an X7/Reba/Monarch build. They will also be offering a frame/HS/Shock option for those who want to build up their own bikes.
"The bike pictured is fairly close to what the $1700 build will be. The tires will be Geax AKA's instead and the rims are going to be different. The stock bikes will come with 180mm front rotors also. The X7 2x10 that comes on the bike has the lower 38/24 gearing which I've been ride-testing; its really nice for long climbs and allows the user to stay in the big-ring a little longer on fast, undulating trails. I've been a die-hard hardtail rider and I can truly say that I find myself picking this bike over my Goblin 29er for most trails. Oh, we forgot to mention what the name of the new dual 29er is: The HobGoblin." says Jeremy Mudd, Senior Product Manager at Airborne Bicycles.
